Sprint launches U301, dual-mode 3G/4G USB modem

Sprint has recently announced its second dual-mode 3G/4G USB modem – U301, which as you can presume works both with the carrier’s EV-DO and WiMAX networks, where available. In that sense, users can expect download speeds of more than 10 Mbps when connected over WiMAX, and about 3.1 Mbps on the widespread 3G network.

In addition to dual radios, the U301 also comes with a built-in GPS receiver, allowing you to find your way around using Sprint Navigation or some other software.

Pricing ans availability were not announced, but we know the new modem works both with Mac and PC computers.
