Similar to Sprint’s plans for the Hero (and Moment), Cellular South is due to launch Android 2.0 on the HTC Hero in the new year. While Sprint’s plans gave us the vague ‘it’s coming in the first half of 2010′, I was somewhat hopeful we’d get a little more specific with this one. Sadly, my hopes have been well and truly dashed. According to Cellular South’s Twitter feed, we got the following:
We’re excited to announce that Android 2.1 is coming to our Hero! Look for it in the first half of 2010.
