Micro Race for Symbian S60

A company called Mobile Stream has released a new “Micro Machines kind of racing game,” Micro Race, for Symbian S60 touch-enabled smartphones, including the Nokia 5800, N97 (mini), Nokia 5530 and others.

As you can presume, it’s a bird’s eye view racing game, featuring 8 different tracks: a knight’s castle, desert with camels, tropical village, futuristic expo and other unique surroundings. You can pick any of the 7 micro cars, and use power-ups such as weapons, speed boosters and thunderstrikes to win. Controls are pretty simple, relying on the touch for direction — car follows a stylus or finger input. Bonuses are activated either by double tapping or by clicking on the “Bonus” in the lower left corner…

If you’re interested, you can grab Micro Race for 3 EUR from Ovi Store. A free trial version is also available (download link).
