For those who were getting all excited about the Square mobile payment system, there’s a slightly more ergonomic system coming by way of Mophie. At CES, they’ll be showing off this new case, which, when combined with an application, will allow businesses to make transactions on the go. While we don’t have any details about how those payments work on the back-end, Square has made a lot of interesting promises, including visual buyer authentication, cloud-stored receipts, and transaction approval by e-mail. Whatever the specifics, it will be interesting to see who Mophie has teamed up with to break out of the accessory game and into mobile payments.
