Things were buzzing just a bit over the weekend, about a rumored WordPress app coming to Android in the near future. The app would be very official, from the folks at WordPress themselves, and bring all kinds of blogging goodness to bloggers around the world packing Android devices as their weapon of choice.
The folks at The Blog Herald stumbled upon a new subdomain at WordPress, namely android.wordpress.org. Hmmmmmm… Wonder what this could be used for? 
Similar subdomains were created for the iPhone and BlackBerry variants of the WordPress app… So me thinks the Android build will be hitting us sometime in the near future. In fact, if I was a betting man I’d throw some cash down on January 5th. Would make sense, seeing as Google is holding an Android press event (aka Nexus One Announcement) that day.
Any way you slice it, this is good news! Stay tuned for more on this one!
