Targus Screen Protector with Clear View technology

The accessory maker Targus unveiled a new fingerprint-resistant line of screen protectors – the Targus Screen Protector with Clear View technology.

The trick is in using a microscopic landscape of ridges and valleys that work to dissipate fingerprint oils, thus leaving the screen virtually fingerprint and smudge free. These micro-structures also reduce glare and when combined with the properties of the film, they create a scratch-proof surface. Moreover, the special adhesive makes it incredibly easy to apply, and completely bubble-free — I’ll need to check this personally.

Anyway, I told you it’s a line and not a single product. Each protector costs $9.99, and supported handsets include iPhone 3G/3GS, iPod Touch, BlackBerry Store, BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Pearl, Palm Pre, HTC Dream/T-Mobile G1, HTC Touch Pro and HTC Touch Diamond. Something tells me Targus is working on screen protectors for the Moto Droid and Nexus One as we speak. ;)
