ALK Technologies has announced that its CoPilot Live v8 GPS navigation app is compatible with the newly released Google Nexus One, and is available for download from the Android Market for $34.99.

“CoPilot Live has already proven to be a must-have app for Android smartphone customers,” said Michael Kornhauser, Managing Director at ALK Technologies. “We are delighted to bring our full-featured navigation experience to the amazing new Google Nexus One.”

CoPilot Live gives you full-featured, turn-by-turn GPS navigation, with detailed street maps stored on a memory card in the phone, not downloaded each trip, so drivers don’t need to rely on their mobile network for navigation. CoPilot Live v8 can also provide real-time services, such as Live Traffic information, Live petrol prices and Local Search. And there’s also something called LiveLink, which is a free location-sharing service that  allows friends to view your location in real-time!

CoPilot Live GPS Navigation is available on Android Market, iPhone App Store, and for Windows Phones via the CoPilot Live online store at CoPilotLive.com.

As a result he has a broad and deep knowledge in numerous areas of Mobile – from network operators to device vendors, to infrastructure and middleware vendors (not to mention content delivery) – and has worked for companies in all of these areas! He is based in the UK, a hotbed of activity for mobile, and recently became a father for the second time – as oppose to in his younger years when he was happy spend time tweaking all manner of mobile devices to 'nth' degree, he now looks for services and hardware that provide the most efficient, compact, and reliable improvements to his already manic life! It’s his opinion that Mobile solutions should be there to help to make your life better – if a particular solution (be it service or device) isn’t doing this, he believes you need to ask the very important question of why you continue to use it... His focus at IntoMobile is mainly on Mobile content, services, and infrastructure, particularly as regards the UK market – and with the occasional look at devices.
