Android 2.1 SDK released

Google has released a new version of its Android SDK (2.1), allowing developers to take advantage of the latest version of the Android platform that’s running on Nexus One and many other devices to be released/updated soon.

Version 2.1 is a minor update, bringing few changes to the Framework API — including support for live wallpapers, as well as changes in the Telephony, Views and Webkit APIs.

In addition to the new SDK, Google has also released a new USB driver that supports Nexus One, which is also available through the SDK Manager…
