Grammy is out with its own iPhone app called “Guess the GRAMMYs,” developed in partnership with Diversion Media. It’s a free social media app that allows users to challenge their friends on GRAMMY trivia, while at the same time showcasing the award show’s countless marquee performances, and offering a trove of exclusive photos.
You can browse nominees from 21 categories, select winners, and register selections. After the awards, you’ll receive an e-mail telling you how your guesses fared. In a similar fashion, you can invite your friends and compare guesses after the show.
Finally, there’s the “Did You Know?” section that includes images and factoids from 50 years of GRAMMY history, and “reads like a coffee-table book with texture and depth.”
And for the record, the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, January 31st at 8:00 pm EST on CBS.
