F1 fans will be delighted to know that Codemasters’ F1 2009 for the iPhone / iPod Touch is currently on sale for the low, low price of $2.99 and for a limited time.
F1 2009 on the iPhone and iPod touch allows gamers to step into the racing boots of their favorite FORMULA ONE driver and compete in Time Trial and Endurance events. Time Trials test a player’s ability to produce a single flying lap in the best time possible, while Endurance is a test of consistency over a number of laps. Players can share their best times with the world to see how they compare to the top times globally, locally or with their friends.
Late last year, I had some hands-on time with a preview version of F1 2009 and I was impressed by how tight and responsive the controls were. If you enjoy racing games on the iPhone / iPod Touch, then you should definitely consider picking up F1 2009.
