Cowbell2010 turns your iPhone into a clanging cowbell; Offers other Winter Olympic Games content

In case you need to “supercharge” your Winter Olympic Games experience, a new iPhone app could help you out, or at least that’s what the official press release says. The application is called Cowbell2010 and it enables fans to “cheer on the athletes by ringing a virtual cowbell” so that athletes know they’re being supported. In other words, Cowbell2010 turns your beloved device into a flag-emblazoned clanging cowbell, which is plain weird, to say the list. In addition there are some other (I would say) more useful features such as:
- Real-time medal tally by country
- Twitter feed that follows hundreds of Olympian tweets
- Complete event schedule adjusted to your time zone
- Favorites folder to manage your Games-watching schedule
- Live Wall to share photos and texts with friends on Facebook and Twitter as well as other Cowbell2010
If all this excited you at least a bit, hop over to this page (iTunes) where you will be asked to drop a buck for download. ![]()
