As hinted and promised, here is the ’2010 Guide’ app for iPhone… The official mobile spectator guide of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games! Put together by the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC) and Bell, this free app brings everything you need to know about the olympics… to your iPhone.

First off, the app is location aware. It uses GPS to tell you what’s going on close to you. This is a major WIN for anyone attending the games. While cruising around, pop the app open and you’ll instantly see cultural events, sporting events and more, all going on near your current location. If you ever get lost, there’s even maps and directions to over 80 venues.

If you’re not going to be at the games, no worry. The app still delivers real-time results, a listing of all events, a powerful search and schedule, news, medal counts, photos, videos… and the list goes on and on. It’s really worth loading up and exploring, trust me… this is a must have.

Oh look at that, Ski Jumping on Day 1. Awesome!!!
