SEVEN unveils Ping services to “push enable” messaging, social networking and apps

Mobile cloud services are set to boom and smart companies know that. Hence, we have SEVEN — which is usually known for its push email solutions — launched a new suite of services called Ping to allow operators and handset makers to “push enable” messaging and social networking on a range of devices, feature phones included. The cloud-based solution also works with apps which need to be connected to or exchange data with the web.

The first version of Ping is already in use by SEVEN and several of its partners, and the company is obviously pursuing new clients at the Mobile World Congress. Moreover, they also said further improvements to Ping are coming over the coming months…
