Last week’s reveal of Street Fighter IV for the iPhone has got the iPhone gaming scene, if I could use my early 1800s slang, all in a tizzy. New details have emerged today regarding its date of release, pricing, and number of characters available. So, let’s get to the goods!
Street Fighter IV for iPhone will be available in March and will sell for $9.99. Judging by the gameplay footage (embedded above), it looks like Street Fighter IV will make 8 of the 19 characters available from the console version: Ken, Ryu, Guile, Blanka, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, M. Bison, and Abel. Not a bad roster, but I’m hoping Capcom offers more characters as further free updates (unlikely), or at least, as in-app purchases (more likely).
