SouthernLINC announces 11 new service plans and 3 MOTO phones

SouthernLINC Wireless is adding 11 new calling plans and three new Motorola phones. First the new plans:

  • The new Unlimited Cellular Advantage plan – includes unlimited private and group Push To Talk (PTT) minutes, unlimited cellular minutes, unlimited text messaging and unlimited data – including access to BlackBerry e-mail – for $99.99 per month.
  • 10 Push To Talk & More plans which offer a variety of choices. There are three types of plans available – PTT and text messaging only; PTT and cellular only; and PTT, text messaging and cellular. Starting price is $29.99 per month and plans priced $39.99 and higher include unlimited PTT, unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling, text messaging, nationwide long distance, and unlimited night and weekend minutes.

As for the new phones in SouthernLINC’s offering, they include:

  • Motorola Brute i680 – a rubberized, water-resistant clamshell that is Military Spec 810F certified for blowing rain, dust, shock vibration, temperature extremes, low pressure, salt fog, humidity and solar radiation. Features include a 2-megapixel camera, GPS, Push to Talk, media player, Bluetooth, IM client, stereo Bluetooth support, and a microSD memory card slot.
  • Motorola i890 – another clamshell with dual color displays, stereo Bluetooth technology, touchscreen controls, music player, 2-megapixel camera, GPS and a microSD expansion slot.
  • Motorola Clutch i465 – iDEN-based device with QWERTY keyboard, music player, GPS, Bluetooth, VGA camera, email client and memory card slot.
