There’s a ton of news today about Windows Phone 7 Series and the revamped Windows Phone Marketplace really caught my eye.

Like the latest mobile operating system, the Marketplace is going to be pretty. Like any app store, you’ll be able to see a wide view of categories and there are smooth-looking transition animations when you want to see the price, screen shots and other details of an application. You’ll be able to buy programs with a credit card or through your cell phone carrier (where applicable), and developers will also be able to offer a free trial period, as well as ad-supported content. It looks well done, and hop on over to Engadget for a video demo.
