The Apple iPad may be a game changer… or not. It promises to revolutionize the way we play Scrabble, but is it worth it?

“One iPad – $500. Four iPod Touchs – $1200. Spending $1700 on a $10 game. What a bunch of jackasses.” :)

Inspired by MasterCard, no doubts…

Actually, I am looking for a version of Scrabble that I can play on the iPad, but with the french dictionary and number of letters. It’s for my father, he’s half paralysed and using a computer and keyboard limits his time to only when he can sit in his wheelchair. He connects to the internet Scrabble Club and uses Wordbiz, but there’s ni iPad client that I know of for this. Scrabble that was released by EA is english only. Luxous from facebook, the app, only had english UK or US. There’s a version of an app in the french store, but I live in the US and can’t buy it unless I’d have a billing address there… Sorry, I rant but if someone knows of an available in the US version of french Scrabble for the iPad…

I loved the cartoon by the way… think poker too…

    Hi,

the EA version of ipad is now available in french :) I’ve been waiting for this to happen for almost 2 years!!! it’s about 4.99$, I just tried it and it seems to be working well. I read in a review that the french version seems to accept english words, but if it’s really a bug, it should be fixed in future updates I guess. Bon scrabble!
