I can’t begin to tell you how nervous I was this afternoon when I was staring at my computer screen with my iPad order in my shopping cart, ready to be purchased. Once I hit the “Complete Order” button, I was plagued with doubt on whether I made the right choice or not. Now that I heard Geometry Wars is available for the iPad, I can tell you that my purchase now feels justified.

If you’ve never experienced the goodness that is Geometry Wars, it’s a twin-stick shooter with some slick HD graphics, tight controls, and some of the best techno music this side of Ace of Base. Geometry Wars has been deemed the most successful Xbox LIVE arcade game of all time, while it’s sequel, Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2, broke sales records.  Trust me when I say the iPad version is a no-brainer GET for me.

Geometry Wars: Touch utilizes higher graphics and faster processing to enhance the game experience and immerse players deeper into non-stop shooter pandemonium. This is sure to be a must have game for the iPad. In addition to the six original Geometry Wars gameplay modes, Deadline, King, Evolved, Pacifism, Waves and Sequence, Geometry Wars: Touch for iPad will feature a brand new, adrenaline-filled mode — Titans! — exclusively on the iPad. The new mobile iPad platform provides Geometry Wars fans a versatile new way to annihilate enemy hordes and clear endless waves of attacks while they’re at home or on the go.
