We’ve first talked about the LG LU2300 back in March. Then later in April we’ve seen the full specs sheet and even the first “in the wild” photo. Well, the device is now mentioned on the company’s official UK blog, hinting us the launch is imminent.

We don’t, however, have all the details regarding the availability date and pricing. We do know we’re talking about the Android 2.1-powered device that rocks a full side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, WiFi and a 5-megapixel camera. In other words, it’s a pretty well rounded product, though we would like a slightly larger screen if possible. I guess I’m expecting too much, but after seeing the Samsung Galaxy S, I realized a 4-inch screen is the way to go.

Anyway, we’ll definitely be watching every move LG makes and keep you guys and gals in the loop. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we get our dirty hands on a single Lu2300 unit. Stay tuned… ;)
