Miso is a great new iPhone app/service, which allows users to share what they watch with their friends. As a user, you “check-in”, and then share what you’re watching with friends. Along the way, you gain points and badges, and can optionally post this information (what you’re watching) to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. Miso argues it’s like a game — the more people check-in, the more points can be earned, and exclusive badges can be unlocked.

Miso can be download from a link below, but before you do so, you should know that right from the bat they’ve got a big partner – Revision3, which will use Miso to get additional community around its popular shows, including Diggnation and Tekzilla.

People who tune-in to Revision3 shows can start earning extra points and unlocking exclusive badges. On its side, Revision3 will additionally be giving away a prize every week for the next couple of weeks to a Miso fan who has earned one of the badges.

Finally, before I let you go, check out a short demo video of “Miso in action.” That’s after the jump, of course.
