Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union adds ATM locator channel to junaio AR platform

junaio AR app/service just got a new (and useful) channel, allowing users to locate an ATM nearby. As you can guess for yourself, once the channel is opened you will see arrows on top of camera view pointing where are ATMs around you — actually, that’s in a several mile radius.

Since Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union is providing the data, their ATMs (28,000 of them) are specially highlighted, but you can also find any bank’s ATM. There are more than 300,000 ATMs in the database, meaning you’ll be able to get some cash pretty much anywhere across the U.S.

If you’re not a big fan of augmented reality apps (shame on you) – there is the other way, as well. Using Quicken Online’s mobile iPhone app you can see all ATMs on a map and get directions. That, of course, is the old school way of “browsing the reality” and that’s not the point here, right? ;)
