Bell is Canada’s Exclusive iPhone 3GS Carrier!? I Think Not!

iPhone 3GS a Bell Exclusive?

Every once and awhile a ‘whoopsie’ sneaks out. It happens to all of us. And as a web designer by trade, I can empathize with the team over at Bell on this one.

Check out the screenshot above, captured from the Bell site recently. Clearly the carrier has some misconceptions about their iPhone 3GS offering… Either that, or this is a simple mistake. Bell of course is NOT the exclusive dealer of the iPhone in Canada… Rogers has been selling the device from the beginning, and TELUS and Virgin Mobile have their hands on the iPhone too. Perhaps ‘big blue’ thinks they’ll fool a few folks into picking up the iPhone from Canada’s exclusive iPhone dealer!? I doubt that. It’s more likely that the company web team had one to many beers over lunch… and this is the result.

Note: Looks like the speedy team at Bell has already resolved the issue. Exclusivity is gone. No surprise there :)

Note to Web Team: No beer at lunch tomorrow.
