After shooting for the iPad, Citysearch is going back to its iPhone, Android and BlackBerry (Storm) users with an updated app. Let’s briefly talk about Citysearch for each of the platforms:

  • Android – Citysearch app now features faster access to local information with built-in GPS pinpoints for every business around you. You can search across categories to make an informed decision about where to go. Moreover, you can upload photos from your favorite local business, as well as tweet about it.
  • iPhone – an updated “find my location” feature that allows you to scroll in a map view and snap back to your current location. Similar to the new Android functionality, iPhone users can also upload a photo for a business listing.
  • BlackBerry Storm – in addition to accessing all of the Citysearch content, BlackBerry users can integrate their Outlook and calendar information and send invites without leaving the mobile application. Tweeting is also included, of course.

And that’s about it. To grab the latest version, simply search for “Citysearch” in your platform’s application store and take it from there…
