Virgin Mobile Live for BlackBerry

The good folks at Virgin Mobile have pushed through a new music app/player for BlackBerry. Called ‘Virgin Mobile Live’, the new app packs a whole lot of features.

With this new music player (and more) you can not only play the music you already have, but you can find new stuff, then share it and even buy it, direct from your device. DRM-free full-length tracks start at $0.69 each. But there’s more to it than just music. Ringtones can be browsed and purchased, and go for $3.95 each. You can even get new wallpapers for your Berry, with prices ranging from $2 to $2.50. Lots to explore here, for sure.

On the music side of things, you can read artist bios, read and sing along with song lyrics, even browse pictures of your favorite artists. When you find something you like, Virgin makes it very easy to share via Twitter.

On top of it all, Virgin Mobile Live comes with a sync utility. This makes it easy to download and sync all of your music between your desktop and BlackBerry with very few clicks.

This one is a free download, but unfortunately it is available on the BlackBerry Bold 9700 ONLY at the moment. Look for further device compatibility in the near future.
