The T-Mobile Garminfone is cool and all, it’s a pretty nifty Android device and a great GPS device, but I’m a little surprised to see that it got its own commercial spot. Of course, there are plenty of folks out there who do a lot of traveling, or just plain get lost almost everywhere they go, and having GPS features on a phone is pretty important to them. So, it makes sense that T-Mobile would advertise a phone that can almost be considered a GPS device that happens to make phone calls and just a bit more (it is running Android, after all).

But if you’re one of those old-fashioned die-hards who prefer maps over a computerized voice telling you where to go when you know there is a quicker, better way to your destination, mad props to you.
