LG Mobile Phones announced the 2010 LG U.S. National Texting Championship, with a cash prize up to $100,000 and a trip to the grand stage in New York City. In addition, this year’s winner will also be eligible to participate in the first-ever LG Text For Good Challenge, which gives the chance to put an incremental $50,000 in the pockets of the winner and charity of his or her choice.

The ten fastest texters in each tournament will move on to the Online Finals and be one step closer to a trip to NYC and the Grand Prize.
  • Bamboozle Text Battle – Concert goers at the Bamboozle Roadshow will have two chances to qualify for the Online Finals at every show with on-site texting challenges broadcast via LED screens.
  • Wild Card Weeks – Throughout designated weeks Wild Card participants will receive a text with a short phrase and the first person to reply with the exact phrase (spelling and punctuation count) will qualify for the Online Finals.
