Samsung’s first Bada phone, the Wave, is coming to Canada by way of Bell on July 8 according to internal documents. We had an inkling this would happen, but nothing quite as specific as a date. The Samsung Wave has a 3.3″ 480 x 800 Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with flash and HD video recording, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
I’m still not entirely convinced that the world needs yet another smartphone OS, and haven’t seen anything from Samsung yet to convince me otherwise, but I certainly welcome them to try. Check out at our post on the launch announcement at MWC for a closer look at the device.
