If you’ve been watching World Cup, you’ve probably “experienced” the super annoying sound of vuvuzelas which can’t be banned as this instrument is “ingrained in the history of South Africa.” There’s nothing you can do about it. You can turn off the sound on your TV set, but that means turning off the whole sound, not only vuvuzelas which are the problem.
In case you didn’t know, the sound of the vuvuzela is louder than a chainsaw, and has been compared to the drone of a thousand bees. Public health officials have warned that the playing of thousands of vuvuzelas in the World Cup 95,000 seat Soccer City stadium is louder than a referee’s whistle at 121.8 decibels.
Enter Vuvuzaga, a new iPhone game that lets you revenge in the virtual world. You play in a 3D soccer stadium and it’s your mission is to banish the vuvuzela horns. There are three characters to choose from — including the the Fat Banker, a WAG and a chav — who run around the stadium in an effort to stop vuvuzela players.
And you can see how Vuvuzaga looks like from a short video below…
