In addition to the cool kids in the block, namely Motorola Droid X and Samsung Fascinate (aka Galaxy S), Verizon Wireless will be unveiling new devices that fit in the low and mid range of the spectrum and also pump-up its netbook offering. The rumor is that these three will be hitting the Big Red’s portfolio at some point in July:
- Pantech Jest – the device that reminds us on the Palm Pre thanks to its vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard. Rest of the specs include a QVGA display, GPS (sings along VZ Navigator), 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot.
- Samsung Haven u320 – basic clamshell with external display and dedicated keys for voicemail, speakerphone and voice commands.
- Samsung N150 – another Atom-based netbook with a 10.1-inch screen, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.
Exact release dates are unknown. As soon as we hear something new, we’ll definitely talk about it. Stay tuned in the meantime…
