Queen Elizabeth II gets BlackBerry to PIN Subjects

While visiting Canada for our national holiday on the 1st., Queen Elizabeth II swung by Waterloo to visit our country’s most successful company, Research in Motion. She got a white BlackBerry Bold 9700, and stayed at the RIM assembling facilities for less than a half hour. The Queen’s not the first one in the royal family to nab a BlackBerry, though – Prince Charles picked up a Storm 9520 in January, and apparently Prince Andrew is a big fan of BlackBerry. . More power to Queen Elizabeth II if she can figure the thing out, but I have a feeling she has more than enough support to handle her e-mails.  As is, there’s a Twitter account for the British Monarchy, but we probably won’t see Her Majesty tweeting anytime soon.
