Following up on the release of the Android 2.2 source code, affectionately named Froyo, Google has updated their software development kit. Here are the few modest changes.
- Adds default Search Widget.
- Includes proper provisioning for the platform’s Backup Manager. For more information about how to use the Backup Manager, see Data Backup.
- Updates the Android 2.2 system image to FRF91.
If you already have the original SDK that was released in May, you can just add on the SDK components, but if you’re starting from scratch, the whole package can be downloaded here.
