Showing reckless abandon to the growing pre-eminence of the official BlackBerry Twitter client, HootSuite has announced that they’re taking submissions to participate in a private beta for an upcoming BlackBerry app.

HootSuite has a few great things that set it apart from RIM’s Twitter client, like support for multiple accounts, multiple members, multiple social networks, analytics, and scheduled posting. Odds are people tweeting in a professional context have a BlackBerry, which makes it a natural fit for HootSuite. Recently they’ve cemented their position as the premiere enterprise social networking client by launching new social relationship and support tools that are probably well beyond the interest and utility of your everyday user.

HootSuite is already covering iPhone and Android platforms with access to Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare; download links to both free and premium versions are below. Sign up for the BlackBerry beta here.
