BlackBerry and iPhone users are not enough for Trillian. They want to jump onto the Android bandwagon, too. And that’s about to happen sooner than we think, with the first beta version slated for launch in the next few weeks.

Those unfamiliar should know that Trillian is a multi-network instant messaging application that allows you to chat with your buddies across such services as Facebook Chat, Windows Live, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber and MySpace IM.

In addition to bringing the familiar chat experience, users of Trillian for Android will be able to synchronize their contacts, avatars, status, accounts and more with their Trillian-enabled desktop or mobile apps. Moreover, the application will support Android notifications, contact sorting and grouping, tabbed chat windows with bubble view and photo transfer, and more.

Finally, Cerulean Studios, the company who owns Trillian, said that this won’t be just a “clone from the iPhone,” rather the application will rock an Android-like UI look and feel.

And in case you want to ask, yap it will work with both old and new Android devices such as the HTC Evo 4G (Android 1.6 or newer is required). :)
