Samsung Code for MetroPCS to get the Windows Mobile 6.5 update, too

It seems Samsung is getting serious to keep its devices, even those that are kinda old-ish these days, up to date. After releasing the Windows Mobile 6.5 update for the Epix (i907) which is sold through AT&T, another WinMo smartphone made by the Korean company is getting the same treatment.

It’s MetroPCS’ Samsung Code that will be blessed with the same “software fix” in the near future. Exact release date is unknown, but we do know one thing – it’s always a good practice to keep you phone’s firmware fresh. So the minute it’s released, my advice is “push the button” and make your Code up to date.

Hopefully Samsung won’t stop at this. We still wait for the Android 1.6 (or even better 2.1) update for the i7500 Galaxy, which for some reason is a forgotten device. If any of Samsung’s representatives are reading these words, please make sure to do something about it. The whole community will love you. ;)
