Although Motorola still needs to find a carrier partner in the UK for its Milestone XT720, that doesn’t stop Clove from offering the unlocked device. Available for 381.88 GBP (about $585), the handset which we also know as the MOTOROI is one of the best Android smartphones on the market today. Features include an 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, 720p HD video recording, 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, HDMI out, 512MB RAM that’s coupled with the same amount of ROM, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, 1390mAh battery and so on.

If you like what you’ve heard, there’s no point to wait. Maybe you could go for the Samsung Galaxy S instead, or perhaps wait for the Milestone 2 (DROID 2), which should also add a full QWERTY keyboard to the mix (just like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S Pro).

Anyway, at 381.88 GBP, I’ve no reasons to believe Motorola and Clove will move quite a few XT720 units. Then, when a carrier partner is found, the number should climb even higher…
