This Solution for the iPhone 4 Antenna Issue is Just a Bandage, Literally

Every time Apple tried to come up with some half-assed solution for the iPhone 4 antenna problems, everyone accused it of just slapping a bandage on the problem. Well, now you can actually do just that. At this point, it’s obvious to everyone where the culprit is on the iPhone 4 – the lower-left corner where the two sections of the frame meet. If Apple’s free bumper case or other case options just aren’t good enough, and Consumer Reports’ idiotic duct tape recommendation isn’t an option, try throwing a bandage on the problem.

The product is called Antenn-aid and, well, it’s pretty much just a bandage for your iPhone 4. It’s made of vinyl and presumably won’t leave a permanent or damaging mark on your smartphone, and it’ll just set you back $4.99 for a pack of six. Sure, it’s not as clean and streamlined as taking a stencil knife, cutting a screen protector and placing it cleanly on the frame, but at least it will be cute and a bit ironic.
