AT&T announced a new Quick Messaging phone, Sharp FX, aimed at those folks who need to stay in touch with their buddies via SMS, email and instant messaging. It’s not a smartphone, but it does come with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard that’s coupled with a touchscreen.

Rest of the features include a 2-megapixel camera, web browser, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, media player and I guess a microSD memory card slot. Moreover there’s a mobile TV receiver that allows future Sharp FX users to access various FLO TV content, including content from ABC Mobile, Adult Swim Mobile, CBS Mobile, CNBC, CNN Mobile, COMEDY CENTRAL, Disney Channel, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile, MSNBC, MTV, NBC 2Go, Nickelodeon and the movie channel Crackle.

As for the services supported, in addition to AT&T Mobile TV, Sharp’s Sidekick-like baby sings along AT&T Address Book (for keeping your contacts in sync), AT&T Navigator and AT&T Social Net that allows users to access multiple social networking sites from one application.

The Sharp FX will be available starting July 25th for $99.99, after a $50 AT&T Promotion Card and a minimum $20 two-year agreement. Mobile TV service is available for $9.99 per month…
