So you bought an HTC HD2 from T-Mobile and went home happily with that big ol’ honkin screen. Then you spent a few hours with Windows Mobile 6.5 and cried your eyes out. 30 days passed and, for one reason or another, you didn’t return it or exchange it for another device. Fear not: Android 2.2 or Froyo has just been ported to the device all over again (this time with GPS and video recording amongst other things in full working order) making it just as nice as the Droid X or HTC EVO 4G. Maybe.
Everything seems to be in good working order if the video below is to be trusted. GPS, Android Market and video recording are all working just fine, and general navigation and overal Android-ness seem to be intact. If you’re looking to free yourself from that burden we know as Windows Mobile, check out the link below the video to get Android onto your handset yourself. But beware, IntoMobile can be in no way responsible if you brick your phone. Enjoy!
