Some technical difficulties cut off our unboxing early, but last night we got part 2 uploaded to the YouTubes for your viewing pleasure. It’s a more thorough look at what we’ve already seen of the BlackBerry 6 operating system on the recently-launched Torch 9800. You can take a look for yourself to see how the new browser fares, and how the operating system handles in real-world conditions.
For those just tuning in, the BlackBerry Torch 9800 was made available on AT&T today for $199 on a two-year contract. It has an HVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, portrait-oriented slide-out keyboard, 512 MB of RAM, a 624 MHz processor, and a brand new operating system featuring a Webkit browser, pinch-to-zoom, and a variety of user interface improvements. If this video of the Torch isn’t enough, be sure to take a look at our walkthrough of BlackBerry 6, or our review if the 9800. HD videos for part one of our unboxing and hands-on impressions from the launch event are also embedded below for continuity’s sake.
