Dell Blaze pops out with Android 1.5 in tow unfortunately

Android 1.5 on the Dell Blaze

It looks like the folks over at Android Spin got a few spy shots of an upcoming Dell Android smartphone called the Blaze and you’ll be sad to know that it looks to be running Android 1.5.

Like the upcoming Dell Streak, the company seems content at releasing devices with the older version of the software. The Dell Blaze seems to be a lower-end device that could compete with some of Motorola’s devices like the Charm or the Cliq XT.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any more information about the Dell Blaze Android phone but I wouldn’t worry about it too much because this doesn’t seem like a killer device anyways. I’m looking forward to the company’s higher-end products like the Thunder and Lightning.

Click on over to the “via” link in order to check out a few crazy blurry shots and let us know what you think.
