Symbian S60 Twitter client Gravity just got itself a competition. The name of the app is Trill and it’s a work of India-based Spice Labs which noticed an annoying pattern: most Twitter clients in Nokia’s Ovi Store are either ridiculously over-priced or social networking integrators that lack features. Hence they wanted to use the market gap and release a free app.
Trill prides itself with ease of use and an elegant user interface. According to the press release I got, “each screen is designed in such a manner that overall user experience doesn’t suffer.”
Using the application, you can do thinks like update your timeline, respond to friends, browse links, track tags, search, visit profiles, mark faves and more. I haven’t been able to try it out for myself so I’m not sure whether Twitter lists are supported, but if they’re not – I’m sure an update version with the mentioned capability will be released at some point in the future.
Unfortunately, Trill works on non-touch enabled smartphones only, but that will change “very soon.” The Ovi Store link is below.
