I guess we knew something like this will be launched, now that that the iPhone supports video calls. VisualFriend is a dating site — though they say it’s not the regular dating site — for iPhone 4 owners, looking for some FaceTime talk with their potential mate(s) and/or friend(s).
The service distinguish itself from the other dating sites by including intimate questions. The reason is simple – you don’t have to tell the world what’s the color of your eyes, they’ll see it by themselves when FaceTime-ing with you. Rather VisualFriend asks you such questions like “Do you think you are a superstar?” and “Do you buy all the new gadgets as soon as they come out?”, and there are also more intimate details and personal secrets included.
Of course, there are also “good ol'” chat rooms for the “getting to know you” element of the relationship that occurs prior to trading FaceTime information (aka phone numbers). Likewise, there are people’s photos all over the site, allowing you to filter out folks you don’t like…
