So the Adobe Flash 10.1 update has started for the Motorola Droid today, and HTC Droid Incredible owners might have started feeling a little envy without Android 2.2 or Froyo yet. Fret not, Sense UI fans as Verizon has just confirmed that the update will be hitting your handsets starting today. Pretty soon you’ll have full Flash bogging down your phone and system resources as well as the ability to store apps on your SD card. You’ll also finally be able to use your Incredible as a mobile hotspot like the Motorola Droid X.

The confirmation comes from Verizon Support’s Twitter account where it mentions the update starts today, August 27, 2010. If you didn’t manage to find the leaked ROM yesterday and install it on your device, it couldn’t hurt to wait now. Remember how this sort of thing works with Verizon: the update is going to slowly roll out, which means you might not be able to get your update today. Of course, you could always go into your menu settings and try to pull it, but there’s no guarantee it will be there.

Enjoy! Or at least until it hits your device, have a little patience.
