As expected, Wind Mobile just launched the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 for $300. No contracts, no ETFs, and there’s currently a great half-off deal on data add-ons until September 15 – $10/month for 500 MB is a total steal.

The BlackBerry 9100 is basically a miniaturized Bold 9700, including all the fixings, like HVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, and a 3.2 megapixel camera. The SureType keyboard takes a bit of getting used to, but the Pearl 3G is the first BlackBerry to be compatible with Wi-Fi 802.11 n networks. The software will apparently be upgradeable to OS 6, which is just the icing on the cake. Wait a sec, do you guys in the U.S. still not have this thing? Yeesh. If you’re really hankering for it, you could nab one from Wind, unlock it, and use it on T-Mobile. For anyone in Canada, you can also grab this on Rogers, Telus, or Bell.

Take a look at our BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 review if you’re thinking of picking this one up over at Wind.
