IM+ for the BlackBerry Torch 9800

Looks like my friends at SHAPE Services have been hard at work on their IM+ for BlackBerry application. Last I heard from them, they had updated the app with some new user interface and group chat features. The app is a powerful one, and connects you to all of your favorite instant messaging, chat and messenger clients. MSN, Yahoo!, GTalk, AIM, Skype and Twitter (to name a few) are all part of the deal.

At any rate, getting back to the update news here, SHAPE just let me know that a new version is now available for the BlackBerry Torch 9800. So, if you’re on a Torch and want an all-in-one instant messaging solution… IM+ could be just the thing you’re looking for.

In other news from SHAPE Services, a new chat history is on-board with IM+ for Web (http://plus.im). Very handy for sure, especially if you need to pull up and reference past conversations.

To get started, you can hit up the download link below. IM+ for BlackBerry is free, but if you’d prefer a ‘premium’ version (if you find the in-app advertisements annoying) you can pick that version up for $39.95.
