We have a news to share from the ever exciting world of the jailbroken iDevices. Rock Your Phone is no more – it’s now part of Cydia!

Both companies announced the news at their respective websites and Rock even shared some cool figures. Here’s what they got:

  • Number of developers with apps listed in the Rock Store: 124 (from 19 countries)
  • Unique iOS devices that installed Rock: 4.6 million (from 220 countries/territories)
  • Registered Rock Users: 2+ million
  • Number of app licenses sold: 500,000
  • Users of who took the plunge and bought something: 280,000 (from 185 countries)
  • Users who installed a hacked version instead: 38 billion
  • Total Rock Your Phone store sales (March 12th, 2009 – September 2010): $3.3+ million

Of course, Apple’s official AppStore numbers are not even comparable, but you gotta give some credit to these folks. Now that they’ve teamed-up with Cydia, one would expect more cool things to be released in the near future.

Finally, if you happen to own some Rock license (like IntelliScreen which I love), have no worries – they will be transferred to Cydia…
