Just the other day, Kelly touched upon a new lineup of Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7 devices due to hit AT&T. While she did mention the Curve 3G and Pearl 3G are set to make their appearance, I thought it may be worthwhile to dedicate a post to the 2 new BlackBerry offerings slated for the carrier.
Word is just now starting to spread that the two new offerings should be available on AT&T October 3rd. No official confirmation from AT&T has been spotted yet, so exact launch date(s) and pricing options are still unconfirmed. Bottom line here is we can expect them in early October.
If you’ve been a longtime Curve or Pearl series user, and are due for an upgrade on AT&T, these two devices will no doubt warrant your attention. Both pack a ton of new features in comparison to their original counterparts, in a form factor you’ve come to love (full QWERTY for the Curve, candybar for the Pearl).
If nothing else, this is something for the seasoned BlackBerry user to keep on their radar. If picking up one of these bad boys may be in your future, be sure to mark early October on your calendar. That said, after BlackBerry DevCon 2010, other things may be on your mind. The Developers’ Conference is coming up on us fast (runs September 27th through the 30th in San Francisco). Can’t wait to see what goodness is in store for us later this month!
Note: If you need even more BlackBerry Curve and Pearl goodness, be sure to check out our BlackBerry Curve 3G Review and BlackBerry Pearl 3G Review, you dig?… Oh, and be sure to let us know if one of these devices is on your shortlist for the coming month!
