Etch A Sketch iPad Case from Headcase

If you’re looking for the most amazing and retro-awesome iPad case, look no further. Behold, the official Etch-A-Sketch iPad case!

*rain clouds part to reveal the sun and a rainbow*

The new Etch-A-Sketch iPad case from the good folks at Headcase is based around the original Ohio Art Etch-a-Sketch. The design cues were taken to heart, as the product looks to be made out of the same shiny red plastic… plus, there’s even the leafy/cheesy/brilliant gold lettering at the top. No detail was left behind here.

While attention to detail was payed to the original, new features are also built-in for the iOS powered beauty. You’ll notice a hole for the ‘Home’ button and ambient light detector, plus all controls and inputs have cutaways on the side of the case. Everything is accessible, as it should be. There’s also a little kickstand that pops out of the bottom of the case. A neat little feature for sure.

Sadly, the white knobs are non-functional, but if you want to turn your magical tablet into a conversation piece (if you’ve already had the ‘is that an iPad!?’ conversation with your friends and family), the Etch-a-Sketch pictured here is the obvious choice. Just looking at the darn thing brings back a flood of good memories. I think I want one.

If you’re dying to turn your iPad into an Etch-a-Sketch, you can hit up the product link below. The price is reasonable… and the product is chalked full of awesome. me thinks they’re going to sell quite a few of these bad boys. If you buy one, be sure to let us know what you think of it, right here y’hear? More photos below. Enjoy.
