Just when you’re done with playing the Secrets of the Monkey Island 2, you’ll be able to enjoy another point & click adventure game on your iPhone and/or iPad – Gobliiins, which is set to hit the AppStore at some point in October.

If you haven’t heard of Gobliiins, here’s what you need to know (the story line):

The Kingdom of King Angoulafre has been enjoying peace and prosperity for years. Suddenly, the king is suffering from strange pains for which there seems to be no explanation. Our three inseparable Gobliiins: Hooter, Dwayne and BoBo accept the mission of finding the Wizard Niak in order to save the king. Travel through fantastic lands to find the cure the king from his mysterious illness.

Each of the three Gobliiins comes with its own skill set, hence you’ll need to use a different Gobliiin for a different task: Asgard (BoBo in the US release) is a warrior, Ignatius (US: Hooter) is a magician who can “zap” things with magic, and Oups (US: Dwayne) is a technician and the only one who can pick up and use items. There are 22 levels to play, graphics is improved (when compared to the original game), and… I can’t wait to grab it. :)
