Those of you living on the bleeding edge of leaked BlackBerry operating systems are probably already packing OS 6.0.0.222 for the Curve 3G 9330 and Bold 9650 from two weeks ago. Today we’ve got some fresh treats: a slight update to .280 for both. Just remember that these are unofficial and unsupported, so install at your own risk.
RIM is feeling good enough about enabling OS 6 on legacy smartphones to show it off in public now, but we have yet to see any leaks for it on the Pearl 3G 9100 or the Bold 9700. That being said, either CDMA carrier testers are more lax about leaking firmware, or we can expect a public release of the 9330 and 9650 versions first with 9100 and 9700 to follow.
